I am bringing a newish book to you. I enjoy old west history, and this one was very enjoyable. I enjoy the fun, little facts that seem to miss most, and the tiny tidbits that really bring a person to life. If you enjoy a good read, or audiobook, then this is one that you will want to check out!

My Review:

A great look into the lives of Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson, and “Doc” Holliday. While this is not the most comprehensive book, there is quite a bit of information on their early lives, and what led them to the shootout at the O.K. Corral.
If you think this book is just about that one event, you are wrong. I enjoyed the time the author took in bringing the early lives to light, as many just pass over that, going straight to the “money-making” event, and leaving out everything else.
I have always enjoyed the fact that the Earp brothers bounced sides of the law, depending on the day, and I felt this book was very fair in its assessment of the men discussed.

Enjoyable for those who like old west history.

The narrator did a fantastic job! I enjoyed the tenor of the voice and listened to this one over a few nights as I was winding down to sleep. A great way to relax and refresh on historical pieces.
