I love blog tours! They are so much fun to participate in, and being able to share some thoughts about “A Different Time,” by Michael K. Hill, is no different! Thank you to the Write Reads for putting this great blog tour together! Now to the fun part, the book review! I fell off the wagon just a little bit, having been sick this last week, so my review is going out a little later than it should – but it is here!

~Book Summary~

What if love was not stuck into one time, but could travel across decades to discover that one person who is right for you? Lindsay and Keith seem to have found that. While she is thirty years into his past, she is looking at the future. They can talk to each other briefly through tapes that she has created, but neither is sure why they are actually able to see and hear the other. Keith is trying to maintain his life, but it has been rocky for quite a while. Ever since the death of his parents when he was young, he has struggled to find that “place” he is supposed to be.

Lindsay on the other hand is reeling from her parents divorce, and her mother has remarried, to a man that gives her the creeps. She does her best to stay gone as much as possible, but that is hard to do when you are 19 and have no job. She endures the best she can, but she knows its just a matter of time before something goes wrong…

~Book Review~

Overall, this was a fun book to read. I liked that it sort of bounced back and forth, and yet, the ending left you wanting more. There were some unanswered questions for me, but that might just be me!

I don’t want to give away the ending, that would not be fun! All I can say is, WOW!

This book is one that you can sit and enjoy on a quiet afternoon. It will transport you to the setting, and you will find yourself feeling what Lindsay is going through, and the many feelings that Keith is experiencing as well.

4/5 stars from me!
