June adventures

June has started off with a bang, but my June adventures are just getting started!

I did some traveling at the beginning of the month, to visit my inlaws, and then drop my kids off. They are going to be gone for around a month! At this time, my house is so quiet, I am not sure what I am going to do with myself, (although who am I kidding, I will be working). But as I sit here adjusting to a quiet house, it has given me some time to reflect back on the year so far.

At this time, I am working on getting my reading back on track. Migraines and being sick really put me behind, and I hate having things left open! So, my goal is to read 30 books this month! It might sound like a lot, I know, but I have some that are shorter, so I can work through them a bit faster.

I am also in the process of getting my crafting back on track. I have so many projects started, and I would love to see some of them completed before I turn 80. Reading and crafting, they really do go hand in hand together! I absolutely love doing both!

More on June Adventures

Alright, now for the good stuff…  so I am branching out a little more. Over the past few months, I have left a few jobs, determined to really start pursuing what I love doing. I have been editing on the side for a while, and have decided to really start pushing more into that field. I have been working with a fabulous author and loving helping to bring a new book to life. Find what you are good at and run with it.  There will be more on this soon!

I also took a dive off the deep and end began to apply for my “dream jobs.” Finally, I want something that I can see myself doing for the next twenty years, and not get bored. So many good things coming this year!

Of course, books still figure into everything! I cannot live without books! Life would become dull.

Where are your adventures taking you?
