The Guilded King book tour has come and gone – and I am wayyy behind! But, I could not let it go entirely, I had to share what I thought about the book with you! I think that this is one that you are going to enjoy.

My Review Of The Guilded King
Alright, first the star rating – 3.5/5
As we get into the world within the Guilded King, we are going to set into an almost dystopian setting. There is the protected city, and everything else. Nothing outside the blue zone is safe, and no one wants to get thrown into the red. There are a few characters that you need to make note of early and keep an eye on them as they move throughout the book because there are going to be some shifts (not giving any spoilers, just a nice heads up) that you are going to want to note.
Julia is a server, she is assigned to Lucas, but he is nothing like the noble that her friend has been assigned to. Her noble is brutal, whereas the one that Julia has been assigned to is kind, and does not really seem as though he fits in with the noble class. As they grow closer, she is finding that they want some of the same things, but he can survive out there, where she cannot. However, there seems to be something else coming, and the entire city is walking around on eggshells…
While I enjoyed this book, I am not going to lie that I got a little lost a few times. I felt that there was some missing information, and then you have the ones who are not quite what they appear, and so that makes you question everything that you have read to that point. It was a fun read, but one that made you think quite a bit more (if you are wanting an easy read before bed, this is probably not the book for you).
